Grolar is an amazing animal made by mixing a grizzly bear with a polar bear.
Polar bears “separated” with their brown brothers about 5 million years ago. But, although they are different species for such a long time, polar bears can interbreed with brown bears, resulting in hybrid bears that can have offspring. This phenomenon is quite rare, but it happens both in the wild and in captivity. The polar grizzly bear is a rare hybrid of a grizzly bear with a polar bear, which occurs in captivity and in the wild. In 2006, the appearance of this hybrid in nature was confirmed by a DNA study of a strange bear species that was shot near Saks Harbor, Northwest Territories on Banks Island in the Canadian Arctic.
