"John McRae, a prominent member of the juvenile lovers community. MacRae was born in 1934. September 8, 1950. John killed the 8-boy Joey Husy (Joey Housey) - he cut his throat and cut off his genitals with a razor.
Before that, he beat the boy and forced him to satisfy him orally. The young killer prudently hid the body of the victim under a piece of concrete slab weighing more than 18 kg, where the search engines finally found him on September 23 of that year.
The place of concealment of the corpse was located approximately 450 meters from the house on Madison Street in northern Detroit, in which McRae lived. John actively participated in the search for the missing boy and nothing, in principle, indicated his guilt, but the young murderer betrayed himself.
He told his father that he had a dream in which he killed the boy and hid him under a concrete slab, after which he wondered what should be done? Father, having thought about his words, he gave this advice: if he has something to hide, then it should disappear on a dark night and not return anymore, and if there is nothing to hide, then you should forget about sleep.
John interpreted the advice of his father literally - he hijacked the motorboat and sailed to Canada. The father, having learned about the escape of the son, declared to the police that he suspected him of the murder of Joey Husi.
McRae was quickly caught in Canada and returned to the United States. In 1951 he was tried. From the death penalty John saved a minor, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in prison. There he stayed for more than 20 years, established himself as a model prisoner, worked in a prison garage and became a very good auto mechanic.
As you might guess, John McRae instantly fell into the number of anally-humiliated prisoners, but he accepted this role and eventually even stopped experiencing any inconvenience due to his own status.
From his passive homosexuality, McRay did not make a secret, and even joked that you could insert a crankshaft into his butt and turn a couple of times in any direction. Surprisingly, the brutal sex murderer, such as McRae, was pardoned by the Governor of the state, as having embarked on the path of correction.
And this despite the protest of the prison psychiatrist, who said that McRae did not feel remorse for his deed and would return to the path of crime as soon as possible.
However, on February 2, 1972, McRae was released and settled in Ferndale County, a northwestern suburb of Detroit. With the work he had no problems, being a good auto mechanic, he was in demand in almost any service station.
While still in prison, McRae had contacts with members of biker criminal communities (it must be borne in mind that all lovers of thundering motorcycle riders in the USA are crowded into numerous gangs of varying degrees of frostbite. Collecting and restoring rare motorcycles are of little interest to them, the main field of application of forces and interests is arms trade and drugs).
At liberty, these ties only grew stronger, McRae got a job in a car service created with the money of one of the biker groups and, accordingly, serving mainly its members.
John got married, a year later, his son Martin was born, however, all these games in “family life” were only mimicry, designed to put down the vigilance of conditional-release officers. From his homosexual and pedophile inclinations, McRae did not want to get rid of in principle.
He quickly entered the gay party of Detroit, but he tried to disguise all pedophile contacts and interests as much as possible. Pedophilia was a criminal offense, and he, who was conditionally released early, could have a stack of child pornography for the rest of his life.
However, law enforcement officers had reason to believe that McRae was using the services of juvenile gay prostitutes, and therefore should be considered as a potential suspect.
After a series of murders and rapes of children in Michigan in early 1976-77, MacRay was among the first to be interrogated and subsequently interrogated several more times. He was offered to take a polygraph test and John did not refuse. The lie detector showed that McRae's statements about not being involved in a crime and not knowing the details of what happened, are true. John left alone.
But as soon as it became known about the disappearance of the girl Jane Allen, he was again "pulled" for interrogation. MacRae again told the old tale of his own ignorance, passed the test on the "polygraph" and was released.
Understanding that such calls would be repeated in the future, McRae officially asked for the court marshals service, which is responsible for the execution of court decisions and sentences, for permission to leave Michigan. He received such permission and in the beginning of 1977 he moved to Florida.
In 1977, the 14-year-old surfer Kate Fleming disappeared from Cocoa Beach in Florida. The house where McRae lived with his wife and son was 300 meters from the beach. Fleming's body could not be found and the fate of the teenager is still unknown.
Subsequently, McRae filed an application for enrollment in the ... staff of prison guards! It seems improbable, but in Florida, then such an inconceivable experiment was conducted on the "socialization" of criminals who "embarked on the path of correction."
McRae successfully passed all the tests and was taken to work in prison. There, he proved himself very well and was moved to a more important area, namely, he was sent to a prison for minors in the Brevard district. Just think for a second - a homosexual pedophile, who has already killed one boy and was suspected of other crimes of this kind, was made a prison guard in a prison for teenagers!
In the spring of 197912-year-old teenager Kip Hess disappeared without a trace, with whom McRae, as it turned out, met three days earlier. Kip was a dysfunctional teenager, he ran away from home and during the charity dinner organized by the church community, hit the epicenter of a scandal arranged by some homeless person.
MacRae, who was present at the same time, let loose the BOMG, Kipa defended him, and at the same time met him. And three days after that, the boy disappeared. How this happened and what his fate is unknown until now.
Then there was another incident involving McRae. In 1979, 19-year-old Charles Collingwood disappeared from the prison in which he worked. The young man was to be transferred to an "adult" prison, and he in every possible way delayed it, pretended to be ill, suicidal, and, apparently, "detained" bribes to the prison authorities.
The latter could not be proved, but without this it was hardly possible. In the end, Collingwood just ran away. Such was the plot of what happened at first glance. However, the investigation into the incident showed that not everything was so straightforward.
It turned out that Collingwood for about two years was McRae's lover, more precisely, his sexual slave. He patiently endured the antics of the guard and carried out all his whims, but only until it became clear that a quick transfer to an "adult" prison was inevitable.
Then Collingwood attempted to blackmail McRae. It was the most serious mistake in his short life. At that time, McRae was 45 years old, he had a great experience as a seasoned criminal, and therefore the 19-year-old fool had no chance to achieve his goal.
John played up to Collingwood and, apparently, helped in the implementation of the escape, but after that the young man disappeared. No one now knows what became of him, but there is almost no doubt that he hardly lived more than a day from the moment he gained his freedom.
Already in 1979, Florida’s prosecutor’s office suspected John McRae of the murder of Charles Collingwood and remained under suspicion for the first few months. He was repeatedly interrogated, checked with a lie detector, but he couldn’t prove anything.
McRae realized that in prison he would not be allowed to work anymore - although he liked it very much! - and therefore he decided to return back to his small homeland. In 1980, he appeared in Michigan, hanged out for a while in the Detroit area, and in 1984went north to Claire County, where he engaged in the breeding of goats.
There, in September 1987, the 15-year-old Randy Ray Laufer, a classmate, neighbor, and friend of Martin McRae, son of John, went missing. In January 1988, McRae and his family suddenly moved to Arkansas.
And in September 1997, the new owner of the land decided to remove the old concrete slabs, on which the trailer of the MacRay family had previously stood. Under one of the plates was the skeleton of Randy Laufer.
The teenager was buried just 5 meters from the porch, in fact, all visitors to the trailer went straight to this improvised grave. As forensic medical examination showed, Randy Lafier was killed using a knife - the bones of the blade were left on the bones.
On charges of murder, both John McRae and his son Martin were arrested; Prosecutors believed that the latter helped daddy realize sexual fantasies. Later, however, the accusation against his son was dropped and he went with his wife and daughter to Nevada.
And John McRae eventually went to prison (with his landing there is also a rather interesting story: originally MacRae was sentenced to life in prison, then his sentence was canceled, but in the end, he was convicted again).
John McRae in jail.
John McRae died in jail in June 2005Modern researchers of kidnappings and murders of teenagers in Michigan in 1976-77. This pedophile is considered one of the most knowledgeable witnesses or even, quite possibly, the perpetrators of this tragedy.
By common conviction, McRae did not say much during the interrogations of 1976, but for some reason, American justice did not really insist on this.
Not to mention the fate of his son Martin. In 2000, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a 6-year-old daughter and her peer, the son of his friend.
Pedophile took the children to the desert in the vicinity of Las Vegas and there, scaring the kids, outraged both. In general, it is truly said that the apple does not fall far from the apple.
