Nature of the Ryazan Territory
Landscape photographer from Ryazan and traveler Oleg Butsky is sure that in the Pronsky district of the Ryazan region one can find unique landscapes resembling Moravian fields, Carpathian hills and even the golden autumn of Altai. He tells our readers about his favorite places and features of landscape photography in the fall.
Some people consider autumn to be the most disgusting time of the year, because for them it is a period of long rains, dullness and dampness, cold winds and dank weather ... But, as the song sang, "nature has no bad weather." For me, this time of year is one of the most beautiful. Well, how can you not love autumn? I love her for clean air and the first frosts, for beautiful color combinations and a special mood.
Autumn fogs are especially beautiful - they are very different from summer ones. In the autumn the fogs are denser, the sun is no longer so hot, and they move along their course. I also like the first snow and the first frost. Autumn colors and the whiteness of snow - it turns out some intermediate, between autumn and winter, the time of year.
I like to shoot autumn landscapes at dawn. The purest air, the first rays of the sun, fog and, most importantly, color. We remove in different ways. I can go on a shooting alone, but basically I do it together with the participants of the photo club “At the source”, of which I am the organizer. Big company, different views, different perceptions of the subjects - all this allows us to better convey the entire atmosphere of the location.
The main tool for shooting, of course, is the camera, but it happens that shooting is not without special means - action cameras and quadcopters. With the help of this aircraft, we can shoot inaccessible areas of the terrain and get great results. And with the help of an action camera, we shoot short videos about our photo tours.
The eography of our trips this season was not very extensive. Basically, we tried to visit places of acquaintance already familiar to us: unfortunately, there was not enough time to study new routes and places. The main areas of this autumn were the neighborhood of Ryazan, Meshchersky Biosphere Reserve with its unique nature, Mikhailovsky and Pronsky districts of the Ryazan region. The last I discovered in 2014. I wanted to find some zest of the Ryazan region, and I traveled a lot around the region. And then at one point, I ended up here in the Pronsky district. This is a unique place with a rich history and beautiful landscapes. I go there for three years and managed to see a lot - the Moravian fields, the Carpathian hills and even the golden autumn of Altai. But the most beautiful in these places for me - fogs.
This autumn I remember first of all for its gradualness: the summer very smoothly passed into the golden autumn, and the autumn into the early winter. I did not notice any sharp weather changes, which, in fact, was very well reflected in the results of our photo tours. The cold weather came fairly smoothly, and the leaves for a long time remained yellow-purple. Here is the first snow - this, of course, was a gift of nature ... Some trees that did not manage to throw off their golden decoration, with the first snow, appeared in a completely new light. The remains of green grass, powdered with the first snow, created intricate patterns on the snow cover. This was probably one of the most beautiful and memorable moments of the fall.
I am sure: you never need to wait for something, but you just need to get in the car and go somewhere, or go outside with a camera. I believe that in any weather you can make beautiful shots.
