The trial over the driver of a car who had killed a motorcyclist to death was completed.
In Magadan, the court review of the high-profile case of Sergey Konechny ended. In August of last year, on Koltsevaya Street, his car cut a path for a motorcycle that was driving at high speed. The driver of the motorcycle died, his passenger with serious injuries was taken to hospital. The Court of Cassation found Sergei Konechny guilty, but he is convinced that the sentence is not fair.
The whole court session, Sergey Konechnykh, tried to prove: his guilt in the death of the 26-year-old motorcyclist Anar Mamedov is not. Of course - the former pilot, and says that on the roads, as well as sometime in the sky, it is extremely accurate. When his car turned, Sergey simply did not notice the rushing motorcycle.
The main argument of the prosecution is this surveillance camera recording In The End, the investigators say, it was time to see the bike, but he left him to intercept.
This is also confirmed by another motorcycle passenger, Alexander Yashkov, who was injured in the accident. He had just survived by a miracle and was sure that the death of his friend was on the conscience of Sergey Konechny.
The investigation of this accident took more than six months. Investigators found out that Anar Mamedov and the road violator himself. He drove through the city at great speed and even intoxicated with drugs. But the preemptive right was still with him, and of course, in any case, he had to miss the bike.
The accused himself ordered many examinations in which his colleagues, having the right to investigate the plane crashes, made their conclusion. Their opinion is unequivocal: Sergey Konechny is innocent. But the court did not take these examinations into account.
As a result, in cassation, the decision of the city court remained unchanged. Sergei Konechny convicted of causing death by negligence. Given his age and positive characteristics, he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
Sergei Konechny intends to appeal the verdict in the Supreme Court. The relatives and friends of the deceased Anar Mamedov, although not satisfied with the softness of the decision, do not want to sue anymore.Onar, they say, would not have returned anyway.
