Wine from the thorn without yeast - tasty and unusual
Blackthorn is a well-known shrub, berrieswhich is like a plum. This is not surprising - yet it belongs to the family of plums. The berries are more round, but of the same purple, dark blue or black hue that is characteristic of some sorts of plums. But the taste is different from them - it is more tart, although the same sweet-sour.
The thorn berries are used to obtainall sorts of drinks - from compote to wine, and their taste remains invariably remarkable and delicate, and the aroma greatly surpasses similar derivatives from the plum. The main principle is to collect the turn after the first frosts, like a mountain ash, then the smell and useful substances that the berries contain are better preserved. If the frosted fruits freeze, they will become much sweeter, so it is better to prepare the wine from fresh berries.
As with other fruits and berries, wine from the thorn withoutyeast is difficult to prepare. Still, their own sugars in most fruits are not enough for quality digestion. But try the recipes (both yeast, and without them) is in any case, because the thorny wines, despite the taste similarity with the grape, have their own unique flavor.
Here is the most common recipe forwhich makes wine from the turn. Without yeast, unfortunately, it does not do, but the result is very interesting. For this method of cooking, you need 2 and a half kg of berry itself, one and a half - sugar (per liter of water) and yeast.
Washed berries without pits (you can - fresh, butfit and frozen) rush to the state of gruel, add to the pan, add boiling water, and the boil is cooked a few minutes. As it cools, the mass is poured into a bottle, where it will wander. Since such wine from yeast without yeast is not too successful, they are added and diluted with the contents of the third sugar syrup. Further on the scheme: the water gate and rest for a week.
When the turn finishes wandering and sinks to the bottom,The preparation of wine is filtered into another container and finishes fermentation (this will take another week). The final stage is filtration and bottling. Get a transparent drink with a strength of about 10% red.
Of course, there are people who know how to make winewithout yeast. But in the case of the turn, first, you need 2 liters of grape wine (for 5 kg of berries), and secondly, another question, what will happen - wine from the thorn without yeast or thistle. But the recipe is interesting. Prepared, as in the previous case, berries for 2 weeks are filled with wine. During the whole time the bottle is shaken, so that the thorn is constantly mixed with it. After 14 days, the drink is tried. Too sour - sugar dissolves in the same wine and is added to the bottle. A couple of days, during which nothing is mixed, the process is completed. It remains to filter out the precipitate, filter the product itself and pour it on suitable bottles.
Experienced winemakers (including those whoengaged in a fascinating process at home) agree yet in the opinion that yeast for wine is necessary.
